📖 Matthew 28:11–20 < Our Mission to Make Disciples of All Nations >

20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

✨ The Command of the Risen Lord, the Direction of Our Lives

After His resurrection, Jesus gave His disciples a clear command: “Go and make disciples of all nations.”
This command is the essence of the Church. The Church is a community that goes into the world with the gospel.
This is not merely evangelism, but a mission to transform people and establish them as citizens of God’s kingdom.

✨ A Mission Possible Only Through the Gospel

This mission is not accomplished by human effort or methods.
Because of sin, we cannot come to God on our own.
Therefore, the beginning and the end of disciple-making is always the gospel.
A disciple is not a “trained person,” but a “person transformed by grace.”
A life that begins by grace alone and through faith alone leads others to become disciples.

✨ The Lord Who Is With Us, the Promise That Conquers Fear

Jesus did not only give a command—He also gave a promise: “I am with you always.”
Even in environments where the gospel is unfamiliar, our mission will not fail.
Because this mission is not our work, but God’s work.
The Holy Spirit opens hearts, and the gospel truly transforms lives.

🙏 Prayer

Lord, thank You for calling us and establishing us as witnesses of the gospel.
This mission is beyond our ability, yet we hold on to Your promise that You are with us.
Help us not to be ashamed of the gospel, and give us hearts that love even one soul.
May our lives become a channel for making disciples, and help us live by grace alone.

Receive the gospel not as knowledge to deliver, but as a life to live out.

Hold one person in your heart, pray continuously, and share the gospel.

Participate more deeply in the Word and prayer within your church community.

💡 Meditation Point

The mission of making disciples is not for a special few.
It is the life of every believer saved by grace.
Today, hold on to the gospel and move toward one person. The Lord is with you.
