Psalm 103:1–11 < Do Not Forget All His Benefits >

📖 Psalm 103:1–11 < Do Not Forget All His Benefits >

2 Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all his benefits.

✨ Our Hearts That Easily Forget Grace

We easily forget the grace of God. The moments when our prayers were answered and the days we experienced comfort fade over time. That is why David commands, “Do not forget.” God forgives our sins, heals our diseases, and redeems our lives from the pit. Yet our hearts remember problems longer than grace. Without grace, we cannot even remember God. Even remembering is grace.

✨ God’s Love Exceeds Our Standards

“As high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him.” (Psalm 103:11)
God’s love does not change based on our emotions or actions. We tend to think we are loved only when we perform well. But God loved us even when we were weak. This grace has the power to transform our very being. He removes our sins “as far as the east is from the west.”

✨ A Life That Remembers Grace Begins Transformation

A person who remembers grace lives differently. Gratitude grows, and complaints decrease. Instead of judging others, we look to God who saved us. Faith is not about “trying harder,” but about “remembering the grace we have already received.”

🙏 Prayer

God of grace, we confess our weakness in quickly forgetting the grace we have received. Help us remember Your love that forgave our sins and made us new. Turn our eyes from problems to grace, and lead us to live each day with gratitude.

🔍 Application

  • Recall three specific graces God has given you today.
  • When complaints arise, practice remembering grace first.
  • Share what God has done for you with one person and proclaim the gospel.

💡 Meditation Point

The moment we forget grace, we become bound again by anxiety and fear. But the moment we remember grace, our hearts are set free. Obey the command, “Do not forget,” today. Holding on to grace is faith, and that faith renews your life.
